DTECH PROFESSIONAL INSTALLER LIMITED WARRANTY

The DTech Professional Installer Limited Warranty applies when DTech products are used by professional automotive / truck installers.(5) If you are a do-it-yourself installer, please see the the DTech Consumer / Standard Limited Warranty. This warranty applies to products listed on the DTech price list at the time of purchase.
COVERAGE
2 Years - Unlimited Miles.(1)
Product determined to be defective in material or workmanship, will be replaced or credited.(2)
Warranty period begins the date of product installation.(3)
Labor for the removal and reinstallation of product determined to be defective.(4)
CONDITIONS
(1) The following products have a warranty period different from the standard 2 Year Unlimited Mileage term:
• DT650005 (DT19209057) 6.5L Pump Mounted Driver (PMD) – Lifetime Warranty
• DT650003R (DT19209059) and DT650004R (DT19208316) 6.5L Fuel Pumps – 1 Year, Unlimited Miles
(2) This warranty applies to product used under normal operating conditions and service. Repairs, modification, disassembly or any other alteration of DTech products from their original condition are not covered by this warranty. Warranty will not be extended to failures caused by incorrect installation or application, modification, contamination, negligence or abuse. The warranty does not extend to diagnostic time, incidental or consequential damages.
(3) A copy of the original product installation invoice is required to be submitted with any warranty claim in order to establish the beginning of the warranty period as well as the applicability of this warranty. If the original product installation invoice cannot be provided the claim will be handled in accordance with the terms of the DTech Consumer / Standard Limited Warranty.
(4) Labor reimbursement for defective product removal and reinstallation will be calculated using standard repair times and the installer’s labor rate. In order to calculate the appropriate labor rate a copy of the installer’s removal / reinstallation invoice is required to be submitted with any warranty claim. If the installer’s removal / reinstallation invoice is not provided, then labor reimbursement will not be paid.
(5) For purposes of this warranty coverage a professional installer is defined as a business that charges customers for it’s installation services and has a current and applicable business license. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary by state.
This revised warranty policy is effective for all DTech product sold / installed on or after January 1, 2016.
DTech Privacy Policy: The information asked for when submitting a warranty claim is used only for the purposes of evaluating the claim and, when appropriate, determining the reimbursement to be paid to the installer. Information provided will not be used for any sales or marketing purposes.
DTECH CONSUMER / STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY

The DTech Consumer / Standard Limited Warranty applies when DTech products are used by nonprofessional or do-it-yourself installers. If you are a professional installer, please see the DTech Professional Installer Limited Warranty.
COVERAGE

Product determined to be defective in material or workmanship, will be replaced or credited.(2)
Warranty period begins the date of product purchase by the consumer.(3)
CONDITIONS
(1) The following products have a warranty period different from the standard 1 Year Unlimited Mileage term:
• DT19209057 6.5L Pump Mounted Driver (PMD) – Lifetime Warranty
(2) This warranty applies to product used under normal operating conditions and service. Repairs, modification, disassembly, or any other alteration of DTech products from their original condition are not covered by this warranty. Warranty will not be extended to failures caused by incorrect installation or application, modification, contamination, negligence or abuse. The warranty does not extend to repair / replacement time, diagnostic time, incidental or consequential damages.
(3) A copy of the original product purchase invoice is required to be submitted with any warranty claim in order to establish the beginning of the warranty period. If the original invoice is not provided the warranty period will be 1 year from the date of product manufacture.

DTECH TURBOCHARGER WARRANTY PROCEDURE
Effective October 6, 2016
The DTech turbocharger warranty procedure is used to determine the cause of failure and warranty status of a DTech turbocharger submitted for warranty. It is also intended to prevent a repeat failure of a replacement turbocharger when the original turbocharger failure was caused by a vehicle-induced failure.
Do not install a replacement turbocharger before the DTech failure analysis has been received.
Procedure
1. Complete the DTech online claim form on www.dipacodtech.com. Log in to your account and navigate to the form located in the My Account area, on the Cases drop-down menu. If you are unable to complete the form, Contact Customer Experience to begin the claim process.
a. If not done online, submit a completed warranty claim form with copies of the original installation and the current replacement invoices.
2. Package the turbocharger to prevent damage in shipment and use the supplied UPS shipping label to return the product.
3. Within five to seven business days after receipt, the turbocharger failure analysis will be completed and you will be notified of our findings.
4. If the turbocharger is accepted for warranty a replacement turbocharger will be shipped.
5. On failures not caused by a defect in parts or workmanship the turbocharger will be scrapped, returned to you as a core or accepted as a core if applicable.
